Port Authority approves budget

The Port Authority has approved its $5.7 billion 2007 budget and a $26.1 billion capital plan, which includes $8 billion for redevelopment at Ground Zero and $2 billion to build the Trans-Hudson Express rail tunnel. Additionally, the capital plan includes $2 billion that will be used either to build the Second Avenue Subway or a rail link between Grand Central Terminal and the Long Island Rail Road. more [Crain’s]
