Copacabana nightclub to move

The famed Copacabana nightclub will move from its current location on Eleventh Avenue to make way for the construction of the Javits Center stop on the #7 subway line. Owners say the move won’t mean the end of the club, which in its heyday was the playground of mobsters, movie stars and famed musicians. Instead, the Copacabana will seek out a smaller, more centrally located space in Manhattan. more [NYP]
