Freedom Tower steel to arrive

The first steel columns for the Freedom Tower will arrive in Lower Manhattan this weekend, and New Yorkers are invited to sign the girders Sunday. The high-grade steel columns were formed in Luxembourg and finished in Lynchburg, VA. The steel signing will take place Sunday at 200 North End Avenue in Battery Park City.
