A new plan to revive southwest Brooklyn’s waterfront will not include luxury condos, officials say. The city is looking to rehabilitate 120 acres between Piers 7 and 12 along the Brooklyn waterfront. Earlier plans, which called for the construction of 350 housing units on Columbia Street, were opposed by area residents. more [NYP]
