ESDC mum on Atlantic Yards analysis

Citing “confidential” issues related to litigation, officials from the Empire State Development Corporation refused to divulge developer Bruce Ratner’s expected profit from his planned $4-billion Atlantic Yards project in Brooklyn. When called in front of a state panel, ESDC officials refused to release the results of a cost-benefit analysis performed on the project by accounting firm KPMG. The refusal comes amid speculation that the project won’t benefit taxpayers as much as they were initially led to believe. more [NYP]
