Building boom will continue in ’07

Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Dan Doctoroff said that construction spending in the city increased last year by about 5 percent and that he believes spending will continue to increase over the next three years. New York City construction spending reached a record-setting mark of approximately $21 billion this year.
