Hotel developers are increasingly drawn to Brooklyn because of its affordability compared to Manhattan. “We’ve seen at least half a dozen national hotel players coming to New York to look at Brooklyn,” says Tom McConnell, senior managing director of Cushman & Wakefield’s hospitality group.
