Spitzer pushing Legislature over congestion pricing

Gov. Eliot Spitzer said this morning that he will not hesitate to use his authority to call the Assembly back into session to sign off on the Bloomberg administration’s proposed congestion pricing plan. The battle over the plan is expected to come to a head over the weekend as a Monday deadline looms for $500 million in federal transportation funds for the city that are contingent upon the Legislature’s approval of the plan. more By John Celock
