Developers criticize Hudson Yards RFP

Some prospective Hudson Yards developers say the request for proposals the MTA issued last week, which will govern the way firms submit bids for the massive West Side parcel, has serious drawbacks. The RFP’s potential deal breakers, according to developers, include the fact that office towers will likely have to be clustered in one location of the 26-acre site; that financial companies don’t want to be located above train tracks; and that there is no guarantee the MTA will complete the construction of the No. 7 extension to 34th Street and 11th Avenue. more [Post]
