More developers offer Zipcar

Condos developers in the New York-New Jersey region are increasingly offering Zipcars as an amenity. Residents at condos that have the car-sharing service–such as Equity Residential’s Trump Place and Hudson Crossing– typically receive a discount on Zipcar membership and rates. “Developers have recognized Zipcar as a solution to some of their parking and congestion problems,” says Julian Espiritu, the Manhattan-based regional vice president of Zipcar. “Plus, they can sell this program as an amenity to their residents.” more [Post]
