U.S. office rent growth slowing

Nationwide, office rent growth slowed in the third quarter, but was still up 2.4 percent to an average of $24.17 per square foot, according to a report by research firm Reis Inc. The report also showed that vacancy dropped slightly, down 1.6 percent to 12.5 percent, its lowest level in six years. The study surveyed 79 of the top U.S. office markets.
