Robert DeNiro’s long-awaited Greenwich Hotel had touted April 1 as its opening day, but it appears to be more like a soft launch. The front desk is staffed and the lobby is finished, but the hotel is still a work-in-progress. And staffers are reportedly standing guard outside to try to prevent photographs from being shot.
