Furnishing pioneer re-sells 15 CPW condo for $9M

Evan Cole, co-founder and former CEO of New York-based ABC Carpet & Home, has closed on the sale of his condo at 15 Central Park West for $9.15 million, which he bought for only $4.91 million. The buyer of unit 15K, which is 2,520 square feet, was not listed on the deed. Cole now runs H.D. Buttercup, a Los Angeles store that calls itself a “manutailer furniture mart,” where customers buy directly from manufacturers.TRD
