CB Richard Ellis has been hired to market the Park Lane Hotel, owned by the late Leona Helmsley. The hotel at 36 Central Park South will reportedly sell for at least $800 million. Helmsley lived at the Park Lane Hotel, which is one of several properties now controlled by a trust made up of her heirs. Luxury hotel chains could be interested in buying the 1971-built tower, which has a travertine and glass facade with arched windows at its base.
