Spike Lee has moved his 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks production company out of the converted DeKalb Avenue firehouse that he had rented for his production company since the mid-1980s. “Got priced out, the rent raise was insane,” he said. Lee, who now lives in Manhattan, moved the company to a Fort Greene building it owned on South Elliot Place.
