Trump could buy developer of troubled NJ project

Donald Trump is negotiating a buyout of the parent company of EnCap, the developer of the embattled landfills-to-golf Meadowlands project. Trump would spend $124 million to finish cleaning up the southern Bergen County swamplands. Trump has said he envisions a development even bigger than the 2,600-unit golf course community planned by EnCap, but says the clean-up is the top priority.
