News Corp. leases at 1185 Sixth Ave

News Corporation, the media conglomerate that purchased the Wall Street
Journal in December, has leased 83,822 square feet at 1185 Sixth
Avenue, on floors 25 through 27. The 12-year lease brings the tower to
99 percent occupancy. News Corp. previously mentioned moving the
Journal’s newsroom to Midtown, from the World Financial Center, by 2009.
