A group of elected officials congregated at City Hall today to rally in support of the proposed 61-acre Willets Point development project. The rally comes after the city began a seven-month rezoning process to allow the massive project on Monday, prompting 29 members of the City Council to voice their opposition. The Council’s vote is required to approve the project.
