New Hudson River Park section to open

A new section of Hudson River Park is slated to open next month in Tribeca. The open fields will be filled with native trees, basketball courts and a skateboard park. The park is part of a huge 550-acre project, which also includes two new park piers expected to be ready by next year’s end.
