New NYC listings site launches

Another new Web site offering property listings in and around the city has launched. NYvacancies.com, launched this week by a group of New York property managers, offers targeted, registration-free listings that include maps, floor plans and full contact details for property. A search engine covers sizes, rents, amenities, features and neighborhoods. The site has almost 1,500 listings so far.

FlyRig.com, another New York City-focused Web site, launched late last year. It also provides free listing services, as well as broker and listing evaluations where clients can sound off about their experiences with brokers.

An established competitor, StreetEasy.com, recently expanded service to include nearby counties in northern New Jersey.

Earlier in April, the international real estate listing Web site properazzi.com made its U.S. debut today, displaying Halstead’s residential rental and sale listings. TRD
