MoMA prefab homecoming

The “Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling” exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art will feature five new pre-fabricated homes and depict the history of prefab dwellings since 1833. The exhibit discusses prefab homes as quick and cheap solutions to housing needs. One of the houses, designed by New York architects Jeremy Edmiston and Douglas Gauthie, is currently a 1,200-piece plywood puzzle in Brooklyn, and will be packed up in three sections and delivered to MoMA for the exhibit’s June 20 opening.
