French dealmaker pays $10 million for 15 CPW condo

 
A long-serving Morgan Stanley European mergers and acquisitions chief paid $10.1 million for a 30th floor apartment in 15 Central Park West, according to property records published today.

Michael Zaoui bought the three-bedroom, 3,100-square-foot condominium on June 5, after going into contract in March 2006.

Zaoui, a French citizen working most recently in London, was born in Morocco and raised in Rome. His retirement as chairman of the mergers and acquisitions division at the Morgan Stanley, where he had worked since 1986, was announced in March.
