Real estate mogul’s wife buys Park Ave. apartments for $24M

Two Park Avenue apartments have been sold for $24 million to Phyllis Mack, the wife of real estate mogul William Mack. When combined, the home will have six bedrooms, 70 plus feet of Park Avenue frontage, four exposures and 28 windows. The apartments belonged to former Treasury Secretary W. Michael Blumenthal and his late neighbor, former Vogue editor Diana Vreeland. William Mack is chairman of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation and founder and managing partner of Apollo Real Estate Advisors.
