LI companies entice workers with real estate

As Long Island real estate costs continue to rise, some companies are teaming up with state agencies and helping employees pay for housing. This is the latest perk that employers are offering to attract and attain young employees. Census data shows that Long Island has seen a 15 percent decline in people ages 25 to 44, causing what some experts call a “brain drain” on workers.
