New York City’s second quarter real estate figures are set to be released soon with even better numbers expected than this year’s first quarter, which was 13.2 percent above the previous year’s level and 11.2 percent above the previous quarter. But as the numbers continue to rise, some observers say luxury condos and co-ops are inflating overall prices, and a decline is almost inevitable.
