Freedom tower for sale

The Port Authority has said that “all options are on the table” for the Freedom Tower, confirming earlier rumors
about the building’s fate. The agency is looking to sell the tower to
private developers and has already approached Brookfield Properties and
Related Companies to take the behind-schedule $3 billion project. While
the Port Authority said the sale would be a partnership offering,
private development companies often seek control of a project in such
deals.
