Hoboken hopes to outlast crunch

Developers in Hoboken say that asking prices are open to negotiations and the pace of sales at new developments is slower, but the market seems to be holding its own. Prices of one-bedroom apartments have dropped by nearly 10 percent, but the prices of high-end apartments with two or more bedrooms remain high. Meanwhile, luxury buildings are still popping up, like Dean Marchetto Architect’s Vesta Hoboken.
