A “celebration of the lives of Pat and Bill Buckley” at the late William F. Buckley’s East 73rd Street apartment seemed more like an open house as the hosts, Barak Realty brokers Catherine and Tom Holmes, gave tours through the conservative thinker’s home. The event included two different guest lists. The first party was a farewell get-together that hosted National Review staff and friends of Buckley. The second party sported a guest list of 100 or so society figures and supporters of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The duplex hit the market ten days ago at $24.5 million.
