Using a hidden camera, CBS2 found construction workers drinking alcohol
during their lunch breaks before going back to work building high-rise
condominiums. The tape, which captured workers imbibing as many as six
drinks in a half an hour before returning to a site, was then shown to
area residents, who were appalled. After 15 construction deaths and two
crane collapses this year, the city has been trying to crack down on safety, releasing new requirements for construction site inspection and operation.
