New NJ mall not eco-friendly

Although malls around the country are incorporating solar panels, water recycling and renewable energy programs, the $2 billion Meadowlands Xanadu mega-mall
is not going green. However, the Xanadu developers did promise to
incorporate eco-friendly elements to the building, and have to submit a
report to the state this month about steps they will take to protect
the environment.
