P/a Associates, the developer of Downtown Brooklyn’s City Point, which will replace Albee Square on Fulton Street, says that at an influx of affluent residents to the surrounding areas has increased demand for higher-end retail. The company says it has lined up tenants for about one-third of the mall, and construction is expected to start later this year. The five-story, open-air mall will have 500,000 square feet of retail space.
