Apollo Real Estate and Pembroke Real Estate purchased a two-tower affordable housing complex along the East River from Aimco. The two companies paid $174 million for the 26-story complex. Land’s End II has 490 apartments, ranging from 750 to 1,500 square feet. The average rent is about $2,000 per month. All of the units are rented to Section 8 tenants under the Federal Housing Assistance program. The sale was brokered by Douglas Harmon of Eastdil Secured.
