Free Hondas offered to home buyers

Home builder William Grant is trying to entice buyers to his 75-home Pennsylvania development by offering free fuel-efficient 2008 Honda Civics. Grant hopes the free Hondas will lure buyers by helping them save money on their commutes from the development, which is about 25 miles from the nearest large employment center in Allentown. Grant says buyers have a choice between the Honda or no closing costs and a lower interest rate. In January, The Real Deal reported on a developer’s offer of a free Maserati Quattroporte.
