Artist sells $3M loft in Soho

Video artist Douglas Gordon sold his 2,000-square-foot loft at 225 Lafayette Street, between Spring and Kenmare streets, to Italian photographer Elisa
Sighicelli for $3 million this month. The two
artists never met, but the listing broker, Halstead Property’s Cynthia Fitzgerald, said Sighicelli recognized Gordon’s art when she saw the
apartment. According
to phone records, film director Wes Anderson and model Theodora Richards also
live in the building.
