Dumbo is Brooklyn’s priciest ‘hood

 
Dumbo is Brooklyn’s most expensive neighborhood, with the average price per square foot at $917 in the second quarter, according to the Real Estate Board of New York. Brooklyn Heights’ average price per square foot in the second quarter was $834, and Park Slope’s was $801. One Dumbo resident who bought a 1,260-square-foot apartment for $260,000 in 1998 was able to flip it for $895,000 five years later.
