Trinity Real Estate hires DEP commissioner

The commissioner of the city’s Department of Environmental Protection, Emily Lloyd, is
leaving her government position to become the chief operating officer at commercial
brokerage Trinity Real Estate. Lloyd took the DEP commissioner position in 2005
after Christopher Ward, now the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, left.
Trinity is the real estate arm of Trinity
Church
, which is in the
process of transforming Hudson
Square
into an office district.
