Westchester resident Anthony Pecora, who lives to the right of the sixth hole at the Winged Foot Golf Club, has filed a lawsuit against the club, claiming that it has caused a “life-threatening condition” to him and his family because golf balls are so often hit onto his property. Pecora claims golf balls have caused $14,000 in damage to his property already this year. A State Supreme Court judge last week banned play at the sixth hole until further notice, with a temporary restraining order. Donald Trump, who said he’d “love to go and mediate” the dispute, Frank Gifford, and others play at the course, which has also hosted five U.S. Opens.
