Sales launched at art-focused West Chelsea condo

Sales began today at +Art, Ekstein Development’s art-themed, 13-story, 88-unit building at 540 West 28th Street. Prices for the studios to four-bedroom units range from $520,000 to $4.2 million, and the building qualifies for the city’s 421-a tax abatement program. The condominium, which has units ranging in size from 445 to 2,539 square feet, will feature custom decorative panels, original artwork and sculpture in the courtyard, and a lobby with a curated art collection. The building will also have 6,000 square feet of ground-floor gallery space open to the public as well as residents. The building’s concierge service includes access to a professional art consultant. Occupancy at +Art is expected to begin in 2010. Halstead Property Development Marketing is the exclusive sales and marketing agent. TRD
