North 10th building calls itself nabe’s first green rental

The building under construction at 148 North 10th in Williamsburg has labeled itself the neighborhood’s first green rental on its banner and in Craigslist ads. Studios in the building begin at $2,400 per month, one-bedroom units at $2,800, two-bedrooms at $3,400, and the penthouse rents for $4,950. The apartments will have bamboo floors, washers and dryers, and ceilings over 11 feet high. It is unclear whether the building is LEED certified.
