The $46 million duplex at 778 Park Avenue and 72nd Street that the Brooke Astor lived in has been posted online. Corcoran broker Leighton Candler is handling the property, which has 14 rooms, six terraces, five fireplaces, five-plus bathrooms and four-plus bedrooms. The living room has views of Park Avenue, while the eat-in kitchen, family room and master bedroom have views of Central Park. The $46 million price would tie the city record for a co-op, just set in January for a 17-room, seven-bedroom duplex penthouse at 1060 Fifth Avenue. Hedge funder Scott Bommer and his wife, Donya, a former television anchor, bought the apartment from poet and writer Georgia Shreve. TRD
