The Municipal Arts Society will announce “Imagine Coney” today, an initiative for a group of architects, amusement designers and economists to come up with a new vision for Coney Island. The team includes design experts from Tivoli Gardens in Denmark, Broadway theaters and former Disney executives, who will draw from ideas submitted during public workshops and Web-based calls for ideas that will be open to everyone. The results will be presented to the public on November 17.
