CW11 renews lease on 42nd Street

CW11 has renewed the
lease at its 104,000-square-foot Manhattan newsroom and studio. The TV
station will stay in the SL Green building at 220 East 42nd Street
through 2010. CW11’s rent was not disclosed, but the building’s asking
rent is $58 per square foot. The lease renewal is good news for SL
Green, the largest investor in the troubled Gramercy
Capital Corp. SL Green has a $141.5 million investment in the company,
which
has seen its stock value plummet 97 percent this year.
