Plans to boost business growth in Cambria Heights

Cambria Heights Development Corp. is making plans to improve the retail
district Along Linden Boulevard, between the Cross Island Parkway and
Francis Lewis Boulevard, in Queens. CHDC President Kevin Jemmott, who
wants to help bring attention to the area’s 170 businesses and
encourage their growth, enlisted Julia Shaw as executive director of
the group in February. Cambria Heights and surrounding Laurelton and
Rosedale have the highest median incomes in the borough.
