Apple Inc. is leasing 21-25 West 34th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, but is no longer planning to open a store there. Apple has put the site up for sublease through Robert K. Futterman, with the three levels, totaling 18,000 square feet, available as of April 1, 2009. SL Green and Jeff Sutton own the land, and Apple reportedly pays $5.9 million in annual rent for it.
