East Harlem’s first affordable LEED building breaks ground

Rose Companies broke ground yesterday on the first affordable housing
and mixed-income apartment building in East Harlem developed to environmentally friendly LEED
Silver standards. The 12-story, 185-unit rental building is called Tapestry,
and will rise at 124th Street and Second Avenue. The development will
also have ground-floor retail space.
