Spielvogels buy and sell in 720 Park

Democratic fundraisers Carl Spielvogel and Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel
sold their seventh-floor apartment at 720 Park Avenue, between 70th and 71st streets, in December for $36.63 million,
but just bought a second-floor unit in the building. The Spielvogels paid $8.98
million for the new unit, which they purchased from the estate of Cynthia Phipps, a horse breeder and philanthropist
who died in 2007. AllianceBernstein CEO Peter Kraus
bought the Spielvogel’s former apartment.
