John Schaefer of WNYC’s Soundcheck took a walk through Lincoln Center’s newly renovated Alice Tully Hall with architect Elizabeth Diller of Diller Scofidio & Renfro. Diller discussed the shift from granite to glass walls in the hall and the way it integrates the building with the city. Diller also talked about how the concert hall itself can be rearranged to change the acoustics of the space. Recently, the New Yorker’s architecture critic toured the new hall. New York Magazine reviewed the space this week.
