A Massachusetts woman who bought an
apartment at The Condo Conversion 20 Pine Street for $925,000 in 2006 filed a lawsuit this
week against 20 Pine LLC to get her deposit back. In August, The Real Deal reported that 20 Pine
was sued by a buyer
who alleged that Boymelgreen Development and
marketer Michael Shvo exaggerated sales figures and completion dates
when the developer refused to rescind a contract to buy 10 apartments.
Work on amenities in the Financial District building stopped for a week earlier this month
to
concentrate on completing 50 residential units.
