The Sapir
Organization is in negotiations to lease 225,000 square feet of 100
Church Street, at Park Place, to the new Claremont Preparatory High
School, which would be the biggest new lease of the year, according to
the Observer. The school, owned by MetSchools, is expected to open this
fall, and would also be taking 30,000 square feet of outdoor space in
the deal. According to CoStar, 100 Church Street is 50 percent leased
with asking rents in the high $30s per square foot. CB Richard Ellis is
representing Sapir and Newmark Knight Frank is representing the school. Sapir announced yesterday that Interactive Data, a provider of financial market data, signed a 15-year, 65,000-square-foot lease in the building.
