New retail, eateries come to the city

Eva New York has opened a 2,400-square-foot store at 355 Bowery,
between 3rd and 4th streets. Chipotle Mexican Grill has signed a
lease for 4,824 square feet at
501 Seventh Avenue.
The Upper West Side location of Fatty Crab, at 2170 Broadway, could
open this week
, as could macrobiotic eatery Souen.
Trigo, in Tribeca, has opened a to-go annex called Trigo Kitchen at 268
West Broadway, next to the original restaurant. Paris-based Leeser
Architecture & Galerie Zurcher recently completed Zurcher Studio at
33 Bleecker Street, at Mott Street. In Brooklyn, the Tea Lounge is set
to open a new location
at the corner of Clark and Hicks streets in
Brooklyn Heights this year.
Cheesesteak franchise Tony Luke’s announced on its Web site that it
will open in an unspecified location
in New York City.
Amid these openings, the Washington Mutual branch on the Bowery and
Bond Street has closed. Plans for a record store in the former Etherea space at 66 Avenue A have fallen through. TRD
